Job Title: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate PACU Nurse to provide immediate post-operative care to patients recovering from anesthesia. The ideal candidate will monitor patient vitals, ensure safe recovery, and respond quickly to any complications in the post-anesthesia care unit.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia and assess vital signs (BP, heart rate, oxygen levels).
Ensure airway management and patient stability during recovery.
Administer medications, IV fluids, and pain management as prescribed.
Identify and respond to post-surgical complications promptly.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare teams.
Educate patients and families about post-operative care and recovery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSc Nursing / GNM).
Valid nursing license/registration.
Experience in PACU, ICU, or critical care preferred.
Strong knowledge of anesthesia recovery protocols.
Excellent patient care and monitoring skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Preferred:
ACLS/BLS certification.
Prior experience in surgical or recovery units.
Location: Open / As per requirement
