Job Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN – LDRP)
📌 Job Summary
The Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN – LDRP) provides comprehensive care to women during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases. This role involves monitoring maternal and fetal health, assisting in childbirth, and ensuring safe and compassionate care for both mother and newborn.
🔑 Key Responsibilities

Monitor maternal vital signs and fetal heart rate during labor

Assist physicians and midwives during childbirth and delivery procedures

Provide care during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum (LDRP model)

Administer medications, IVs, and epidurals as prescribed

Educate patients and families on childbirth, breastfeeding, and newborn care

Respond to obstetric emergencies and provide critical care when required

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
-
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards
🎓 Required Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN)

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
-
BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (required)

ACLS & NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications (preferred)
💼 Experience Required

1–3+ years of experience in Labor & Delivery or maternal care (preferred)
