Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Cardiology Clinic

Job Summary:
The Outpatient Cardiology Clinic RN provides specialized nursing care to patients with cardiovascular conditions in a clinic setting. The RN supports cardiologists, coordinates patient care, performs assessments, and ensures high-quality cardiac care and education.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform patient assessments including vital signs and cardiac history
Conduct and assist with EKGs, stress tests, and cardiac monitoring
Administer medications and monitor patient response
Educate patients on heart disease management, medications, and lifestyle changes
Coordinate diagnostic testing and follow-up appointments
Triage patient calls and address cardiac-related concerns
Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare team members

Required Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
BLS required; ACLS preferred
Experience in cardiology or outpatient clinic setting preferred
Strong cardiac assessment skills
Excellent communication and patient education abilities

Preferred Skills:

EKG interpretation
Cardiac stress testing support
Care coordination
Knowledge of cardiovascular medications
