Job Title: LPN – Immediate Care Center

Primary Skill: Practical Nursing

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Immediate Care Center provides efficient, patient-focused care for individuals with non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries. This role supports physicians and RNs in delivering urgent medical services, ensuring timely assessment, treatment, and patient flow in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform initial patient intake, vital signs, and basic health assessments

• Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures

• Administer medications, injections, and wound care as directed

• Prepare patients for diagnostic tests (lab work, X-rays)

• Monitor patient condition and report changes to RN/physician

• Provide patient education on medications, care instructions, and follow-ups

• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems

• Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed

• Manage patient flow and support efficient clinic operations

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma in Practical Nursing (LPN)

• Active LPN license

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

• 1–3 years of clinical experience, preferably in urgent care or outpatient settings
