The Manager of Regional Pharmacy is responsible for overseeing pharmacy operations across multiple locations within a region. This role ensures safe, compliant, and efficient medication management while leading pharmacy teams, optimizing processes, and maintaining high standards of patient care.
Oversee daily operations of multiple pharmacy locations within the region
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and pharmacy laws
Manage medication inventory, procurement, and distribution processes
Lead, mentor, and supervise pharmacists and pharmacy staff
Implement best practices for medication safety and quality assurance
Monitor and improve operational efficiency and patient service levels
Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative teams
Handle audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting
Manage budgets, cost control, and financial performance
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across pharmacy services
Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
Active Pharmacist license
5–10 years of pharmacy experience, including leadership/management roles
Strong leadership and team management
Knowledge of pharmacy regulations and compliance
Inventory and supply chain management
Financial and operational planning
Communication and stakeholder management
Problem-solving and decision-making
Multi-site pharmacy operations (hospitals, retail, or healthcare networks)
Office and on-site pharmacy settings
May require travel within the region
Experience managing multiple pharmacy locations
Exposure to hospital or retail pharmacy chains
Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and EMR
