Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)

📌 Job Summary

The Operating Room RN is responsible for providing nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. This role ensures a sterile environment, assists surgeons, and monitors patient safety throughout the operation.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Prepare operating room for surgical procedures (equipment, instruments, supplies)
• Maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment
• Assist surgeons during operations (scrubbing, circulating)
• Monitor patient vitals and condition throughout surgery
• Administer medications and anesthesia support (as required)
• Coordinate with surgical team members (surgeons, anesthesiologists, technicians)
• Ensure proper documentation of procedures and patient records
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care

🎓 Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Certification in BLS/ACLS (preferred)
• Certification in CNOR (preferred but not mandatory)

💼 Experience Required

• 2+ years of experience in Operating Room / Surgical Nursing
• Experience in handling surgical equipment and procedures
