Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg department on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and communicate any changes to the medical team
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Med Surg nursing
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
