Job Title: Permanent Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER)
Job Summary:
The Permanent RN ER will provide quality patient care in the emergency room setting. The RN will assess patient needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain accurate medical records. The RN will collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assessing and triaging patients in the emergency room
2. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
3. Monitoring patient vital signs and responding to changes in health status
4. Communicating effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
5. Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
6. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
7. Adhering to hospital policies and procedures
8. Participating in staff meetings and trainings as required
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Current RN license in the state of practice
2. BLS and ACLS certification
3. Minimum of 1-2 years of ER nursing experience
4. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
7. Understanding of emergency room protocols and procedures
