Job Title: Permanent Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery (RN L&D)
Job Summary:
As a Permanent RN in Labor and Delivery, you will be responsible for providing care and support to women during childbirth and the postpartum period. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of both mother and baby.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor and assess the health of both mother and baby throughout the labor and delivery process
- Administer medications and assist with pain management techniques as needed
- Assist with the delivery of the baby and provide immediate postpartum care
- Educate new mothers on breastfeeding, infant care, and postpartum recovery
- Document all patient interactions and care provided accurately and timely
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice
- Previous experience in Labor and Delivery preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
