Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Room (ER) In Robbinsdale, MN
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room Department in Robbinsdale, MN. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, independently, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. As an Emergency Room RN, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care needs. You will collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality and safety in the delivery of patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Triage patients and prioritize care based on acuity, presenting signs/symptoms, and medical history
• Administer medication, perform treatments and procedures within the scope of nursing practice
• Monitor and interpret vital signs to detect changes in patient status and ensure appropriate interventions are taken
• Evaluate patient outcomes and modify the care plan as needed
• Educate patients and their families on their condition, treatments, and medications
• Document accurate and timely patient care records and communicate changes in patient status with healthcare team members
Qualifications and Skills:
• Must have a current RN license in the state of Minnesota
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Minimum of 1-2 years of ER experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
