Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting patients with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for residents.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
2. Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
3. Assist in transferring residents to and from their beds or wheelchairs.
4. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
5. Maintain cleanliness and organization in resident living areas.
6. Follow care plans and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
7. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
3. Active CNA certification.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work well in a team environment.
6. Compassionate and patient demeanor.
7. Physical stamina to lift and move patients as needed.
