Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will be responsible for providing direct patient care and support to residents in a healthcare facility. You will work under the supervision of licensed nurses to ensure the physical, emotional, and social well-being of patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assisting patients with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
2. Monitoring and recording vital signs
3. Feeding and helping patients with meal consumption
4. Turning and repositioning bedridden patients
5. Assisting with ambulation and mobility
6. Providing emotional support and companionship to patients
7. Keeping accurate medical records
8. Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients
Qualifications and Skills:
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
3. Current certification as a CNA
4. Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients
7. Physical stamina and strength to perform job duties
8. Basic medical knowledge and understanding of patient care principles
