Job Title: Registered Nurse RN Med Surg In Weirton, WV
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse RN Med Surg In Weirton, WV to provide patient care in our medical-surgical unit. The primary responsibility of the Registered Nurse RN Med Surg is to ensure the optimal health and safety of all patients through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced, highly stressful environment with ease.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and assess patient vital signs and condition, adjusting care plans as necessary
• Accurately document patient information in electronic health records
• Assist with patient care management and discharge planning
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with all regulations and standards
Qualifications and Skills:
• Current RN license in the state of West Virginia
• Minimum of 1-year experience in medical surgical nursing
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly stressful environment
