Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Job Summary:
As an RN in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), you will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to critically ill patients. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to monitor and assess patients, administer medications, and provide support to both patients and their families during challenging times.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor and assess patients' condition, including vital signs and lab results
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patients' condition
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participate in team meetings and trainings to stay current on best practices in critical care nursing
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care nursing
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
- Attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
