Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse (RN) Dialysis, you will be responsible for providing care to patients with kidney disease who are undergoing dialysis treatment. You will monitor patients during dialysis sessions, administer medications, and educate patients on proper care techniques. Your primary goal will be to ensure the well-being and comfort of patients throughout their treatment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assess patients before and after dialysis treatment
2. Administer medications as prescribed by physicians
3. Monitor patients during dialysis sessions and adjust treatment as needed
4. Educate patients on dialysis procedures and self-care techniques
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans
6. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
7. Provide emotional support to patients and their families
8. Ensure a clean and safe dialysis environment
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Current RN license in the state of practice
2. Certification in dialysis nursing preferred
3. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in dialysis
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
6. Attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills
