Job Title: RN - OR - Outpatient / Same Day Program
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Outpatient / Same Day Program team in the Operating Room (OR). The RN will be responsible for providing quality patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures in an outpatient setting. This role requires excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional care to patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members to ensure safe and efficient care for patients undergoing outpatient procedures
- Perform pre-operative assessments, patient education, and post-operative monitoring
- Administer medications and assist with anesthesia during procedures
- Monitor vital signs and assess patient status throughout the surgical process
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active RN license in the state of [State]
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an OR or surgical setting preferred
