Job title: Registered Nurse (RN) Critical Care Unit (CCU)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Unit (CCU) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care to patients in critical condition, monitoring their vital signs, and assisting with medical procedures in a fast-paced and challenging environment. This position requires strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor and assess patient conditions in the Critical Care Unit
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate interventions
- Educate patients and their families on medical conditions, treatment options, and post-discharge care instructions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Critical Care nursing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
