Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Critical Care, Float
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Critical Care Float team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As a Critical Care Float Nurse, you will be required to work across various critical care units, including ICU, CCU, and ER, to ensure optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assessing and monitoring patients' conditions and vital signs.
2. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
3. Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
4. Performing routine procedures such as blood draws, IV insertions, and wound care.
5. Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families.
6. Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation.
7. Responding to emergencies and coordinating with other healthcare providers.
8. Adhering to all regulatory standards and protocols.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice.
2. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care nursing.
4. BLS and ACLS certifications.
5. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
8. Flexibility to work various shifts and rotations.
