Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse (RN) working in a clinic setting, you will be responsible for providing patient care, educating patients on their health conditions, and assisting physicians during medical procedures. Your primary focus will be on promoting wellness and preventing illness within the community.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assessing patient health by conducting physical examinations and medical histories
2. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
3. Educating patients on managing their health conditions and promoting healthy lifestyle choices
4. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
5. Performing diagnostic tests and analyzing results
6. Providing emotional support and guidance to patients and their families
7. Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation
8. Assisting with patient scheduling and coordinating referrals to specialists
9. Adhering to clinic policies and procedures to ensure quality patient care
10. Participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Previous experience in a clinic or outpatient setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- CPR certification
- Commitment to providing compassionate and quality patient care
