Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Room (ER)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room (ER) team. The ideal candidate will be able to provide quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, assess emergency medical situations, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess and triage patients in the Emergency Room (ER) setting
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide interventions as necessary
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members
- Collaborate with physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
- Participate in continuous education and training to stay current on best practices in emergency nursing
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room (ER) setting
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
