Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse in the Med Surg unit, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients with medical and surgical conditions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care for patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess and evaluate patient's medical and surgical conditions
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and report changes in patient's condition
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients and their families on health management
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Nursing degree from an accredited institution
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
