Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry - Cardiac / Med Surg / Float
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team in the Telemetry department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cardiac and Medical Surgical nursing, with the ability to float between units as needed. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment, with the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor and assess cardiac patients' vital signs and telemetry readings
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and self-care techniques
- Assist with procedures and interventions as needed
- Document patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
- Float between Telemetry, Cardiac, and Med Surg units as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Telemetry, Cardiac, or Med Surg nursing
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
