Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing patient needs, implementing nursing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Perform nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
3. Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
4. Assist with medical procedures and provide patient education
5. Document patient care accurately and maintain medical records
6. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
7. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of nursing practice
8. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
9. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Current, unrestricted LVN/LPN license in the state of practice
2. CPR certification
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. Excellent time management and organizational skills
6. Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
7. Knowledge of medical terminology and nursing procedures
8. Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
