Job title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med Surg team. The ideal candidate will provide expert nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess and evaluate patients' conditions and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and progress
- Educate patients and their families on disease management and treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and confidentiality
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education opportunities
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Med Surg setting
- BLS certification
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
