Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Long Term Care (LTC)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our long term care facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality care to residents in our LTC facility, assessing their healthcare needs, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor residents' vital signs and evaluate their overall health status
- Develop and implement care plans for residents based on their individual needs
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and therapists, to provide comprehensive care for residents
- Provide education to residents and their families on healthcare maintenance and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate medical records and reports
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care for residents
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of employment
- Previous experience in long term care or geriatric nursing preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
