Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER)
Job Summary:
As an Emergency Room Nurse, you will provide critical care to patients in the emergency department who are experiencing life-threatening injuries or illnesses. You will assess patients, create care plans, administer treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide the highest level of care in fast-paced and high-stress environments.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess and triage patients upon arrival to the emergency department
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with doctors, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Monitor and report changes in patient conditions
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during critical situations
- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- CPR and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency room nursing
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in high-stress situations
