Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room (ER) team. The ideal candidate will provide quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As an RN in the ER, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and provide support to patients and their families during times of crisis.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess and triage patients in the ER
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
- Participate in emergency response and disaster preparedness activities
- Stay up-to-date on current practices and trends in emergency nursing
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN) preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and in high-stress situations
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
