Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our behavioral health team. The RN will provide quality care for patients with mental health disorders and substance abuse issues in a supportive and therapeutic environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatric nursing and a passion for helping those in need.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess patients' mental health needs and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor patient progress and provide interventions as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
- Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Previous experience in behavioral health nursing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
