Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg / Emergency Room (ER)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg and Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will provide quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members to deliver excellent healthcare services.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the Med Surg and Emergency Room setting
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitoring and recording patient vital signs and symptoms
- Collaborating with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license and BLS certification
- Prior experience in Med Surg and/or Emergency Room settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Team player with a positive attitude
